Property Taxes are due and must be postmarked on or before December 31st to avoid paying late fees.
All offices of the Revenue Commissioner are now located in the courthouse annex at 750 Main Street Moulton, Al 35650.

- Real Property Assessing and Collecting is on 2nd floor, 256-974-2473
- Appraisal and Mapping is located on 3rd floor, 256-974-2457
Land has been purchased to build a building for the offices of Revenue Commissioner and Probate Judge. The building is scheduled to be completed within 2 years from now (10-1-2009).

The Lawrence County Revenue Commissioner's office will be closed on the following dates in 2009-10:
• Monday January 18th, 2010 Martin Luther King/Robert E. Lee Birthday
• Monday February 15th, 2010 President’s Day
• Monday May 31st, 2010 for Memorial Day
• Monday July 5th, 2010 for Independence Day
• Monday September 6th, 2010 for Labor Day
• Thursday November 11th, 2010 for Veterans Day
• Thursday & Friday November 25th – 26th, 2010 for Thanksgiving
• Thursday through Monday, December 23rd - 27th for Christmas
• Friday, December 31st, 2010 and Monday, January 3rd, 2011 for New Years
